The annual event’s organiser Joe Bogdanovich today stated that he believes in the entertainer’s talent and wants to see him develop to greatness.
“I had a chance to meet Nigy Boy in New York maybe a month ago and at that time I made a decision to put him on Sumfest this July. I know he’s going to do great at your show and Nigy Boy is truly another universe,” Bogdanovich said at a media event today the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.The ‘Continental Boss’, who has been residing in the United States for almost eight years, has returned to the island today for a two-show appearance.
“I can’t find words, it’s an exhilarating feeling,” said the artiste, whose given name is Nigel Hector. “Thank you so much for your endorsement; you saw the talent and you’re taking a leap of faith to push it, and I will not disappoint,” added the Flankers, Montego native.
Reggae Sumfest is to be held in Montego Bay from July 14 to 20.
