Armed with an energetic, young and fresh approach Q-ban sets his sights on becoming one of the newest  members of Jamaica’s dancehall fraternity.
Born in the Mandeville, Manchester, with music literally around him since birth Q-ban forged a musical bond with sister dancehall artist CeCile , and from a young age would often sit and watch as his sister wrote songs, and sang all day and even followed her to the studios whenever he could.  His sister’s unquenchable thirst for music soon became his own and having been bitten by this contagious bug and secretly being inspired Q-ban knew as soon as the opportunity presented itself he would embark upon a musical journey.
Having no formal training Q-ban began honing his singing, djaying and dancing skills by performing at every school party and or  family functions although his mom insisted on his formal education, Q-ban never wavered from the mindset that one day soon he would fully pursue his love of music
In 2011 Q-ban connected with US based management / promotions team “The Usual Suspect”   who were so impressed after seeing him performing at a local event, that they decided to give the young inexperienced artist a go at becoming one of the acts on their roster.
Discography and Performance
Although only several months into his new musical venture and while still honing his craft, Q-ban has recorded and released 3 singles all of which boasts accompanying music videos garnering the young act regular rotation on Hype TV, RE TV, CVM TV, TVJ and other local stations.   Already, he has a bevy of young female fans who is already requesting his presence at various parties and stage shows.
Q-ban has been steadily promoting his brand and has performed at UWI Chancellor Hall in Kingston, Amnesia Night Club in Ocho Rios, Allure Stage Show in St Elizabeth, Links FM Road Show, and has shared stage with acts such as Aidonia, Tommy Lee (Gaza) and Coco T.
