Reggae Sumfest 2017 Celebrates 25th Anniversary Weeklong Pre-Event Takeover Of Montego Bay Culminates In Two Main Events With Global Reggae Stars

The Jamaica Observer newspaper recently ran a story titled, “Record crowds expected for Reggae Sumfest’s 25th anniversary show.” The article summed up the excitement by reporting that ticket sales so far this year indicate record crowds coming to the annual event scheduled for Montego Bay.

After the pre-event parties, Catherine Hall Festival Grounds are transformed into the biggest Reggae festival of the year! The Main Event Night 1 on Friday, July 21 night focuses on Dancehall while the Main Event Night 2 on Saturday July 22 has a Reggae Focus.

Global Reggae and Dancehall fans are rejoicing for the chance to see (live or on livestream), these international Reggae performers:

MAIN EVENT NIGHT 1

  • Alkaline ~ the first Dancehall deejay to have a #1 album on the chart for five years.
